We’re coming off a pretty busy NHL evening, and get to look forward to four games tonight. While we’re waiting on those, let’s visit the headlines in our daily wrap-up of the key players in the league.

Tyler Seguin, C, Dallas Stars: The Stars bagged three power-play goals last night against the Bruins, which propelled them to a 5-3 victory at TD Garden.
Seguin managed a hat trick--the seventh of his career--and two of the PPGs. He now has a six-game points streak and 300 points in the NHL. Jamie Benn helped out as well with two assists.
On the other side, Loui Eriksson put up two goals of his own.
The Stars move to 10-3-0, while Boston sits at 6-4-1.

Casey Cizikas, C, NY Islanders: Cizika bagged a goal yesterday against the Devils at Barclays Center, the game-winner in a 2-1 result. His score came with just 2:12 remaining in the game. Brock Nelson had the other goal for the Isles.
On defense, Jaroslav Halak posted 23 saves, helping New York end its three-game losing streak. They’re now 7-3-3.

Henrik Lundqvist, G, New York Rangers: The Rangers had only 21 shots on goal last night against the Capitals, but made them count. They came away with a 5-2 victory at Madison Square Garden, helped out by Lundqvist’s 32 saves.
The Rangers had just two shots on goal in the second period, but scored on both chances. The team is 5-0-2 in the past seven and 8-2-2 overall. Washington slips to 8-3-0.

Jarome Iginla, RW, Colorado Avalanche: If you like offense, last night’s Avalanche-Flames game was for you. Iginla scored twice and added an assist in the 6-3 victory at Pepsi Center, getting the Avs to 4-7-1 thus far. The Flames have lost five of six and sit at 3-9-1.
Matt Duchene (two goals) and Erik Johnson (goal; assist) also had nice outings for the Avalanche.
