The Sharks look for their second in in as many nights as they travel from Detroit to Buffalo to battle the Sabres on Saturday.
The San Jose Sharks continue to be one of the most frustrating and difficult teams to handicap in professional sports as they showed up in a big way at the Joe last night against the Red Wings and scored a pivotal 3-2 victory. The Sharks were heading into last night's game as losers of seven of their previous 10 games and looked like a team that was destined to be sellers as the season moved along but if they can get another win here they would jump back into the mix in the Pacific division. Alex Stalock will likely get the nod as he will go up against Linus Ullmark.

The Sabres meanwhile have won three straight games and will be looking for a fourth in a pretty favourable spot on Saturday against the Sharks in Buffalo. The young Sabres have some growing to do and will likely miss out on the playoffs this season but they have had a very nice start to the year as they have split their first 16 contests and sit in fifth place in the Atlantic, ahead of Boston, Florida, and Toronto. The Sharks as mentioned are very tough to figure out but this is a nice spot for the home side as they catch San Jose starting their back up and I like Buffalo to keep their winning ways afloat at least for another day.
