The Anaheim Ducks are trying to come back from a dreadful start and have been slowly getting the job done. The Ducks took another step in the right direction with a 3-1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes at the BB&T Center on Thursday. Andrew Cogliano and Cam Fowler gave the Ducks a 2-0 lead before Jakob Silfverberg hit an empty net with just over a minute left. The win went to Frederik Anderson who brushed aside 23 shots to pick up the win and raise Anaheim’s record to 7-9-4. Roberto Luongo was solid in the nets with 38 saves in absorbing the loss.
