The Line: Minnesota Wild / Dallas Stars --- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Stars look to stay hot as they head into Minnesota on Saturday looking to send the Wild to a rare home defeat.
The Dallas Stars continued their red hot start as they upended the Canucks at home last night in a 3-2 shootout and now they can extend their division and conference lead with a victory on the road against a tough Minnesota side. Dallas has been spectacular all season long and can extend their lead to seven points in the Central division with a victory but against a Minnesota team that has been very good at home over the years they know it’ll be a tough task. Kari Lehtonen will likely get the nod after Antii Niemi started yesterday as he will go up against Devan Dubnyk.

The Wild head into Saturday’s outing sitting in fifth in the Central but are just six back of the Blues for second and have two games in hand but are coming off back to back losses. Minny has been a team on the rise over the last few seasons but are now at a point where they need to make a deep playoff run to display progress but with a strong division and only so many spots in the postseason they are going to have their work cut out for them. This should be a tight contest and with Minny already playing a defensive type of game and the Stars playing in a back to back I think this one stays under the number.
