The Leafs look for their second win in as many games as they head into Winnipeg to battle the Jets at the MTS Centre on Wednesday.
The Toronto Maple Leafs will look to follow up their 3-0 shutout of the Oilers in Toronto on Monday night as they head into Winnipeg to battle the Jets in an all Canadian show down in Manitoba. The Leafs have been playing their best hockey of the season of late as they are 6-3-1 in their last 10 contests and can claim their seventh with a win here against a struggling Jets team who is likely to see the return of Ondrej Pavelec. The story line surrounding the Leafs on Monday was the debut and subsequent shutout by rookie goaltender Garret Sparks who has emotional after the game and while he will see plenty of time in blue and white moving forward I think he will be relegated back to the bench for this one as James Reimer will go up against Pavelec.

The Jets haven't had a very strong start to the seaosn and head into Wednesday night's game sitting in sixth place in the Central division and are a very disappointing 3-7 in their last 10 games. The Jets are 11-12-2 on the season and already find themselves 14 points back of the division leading Stars but they are still a solid team that can go on a run and get themselves back into the playoff picture. Winnipeg is usually a tough team to play on home ice but this season they are just 5-4-1 at home and while the Leafs are 4-6-2 on the road they are in a good spot here with Reimer getting the call and he could be the difference in another Leafs win.
