The Sens look for their second win in as many nights and third straight overall as they head into MSG to battle the Rangers on Sunday.
The Senators got a much needed victory in overtime on home ice last night as they took down the New York Islanders and earned two big points which has them in third place in the division and just a single point back of the second seeded Red Wings. Ottawa rallied back on a number of occasions last night and look like a contender in the Eastern Conference and if they are in the mix in a few months time they certainly fit the bill of being buyers at the trade deadline as they can afford to move some pieceas for some proven role players. Ottawa will likely turn to Andrew Hammond in this one as Craig Anderson got the call last night and he will face off against Henrik Lundqvist for the Rangers.

New York heads into Sunday's contest looking to shake out of their funk as they have lost 6 of their last 10 games and have lost their grip atop the Metro division standings but a trip back to MSG usually solves all of their ailments. New York sits a point behind the Capitals for the division race and have played two more games than them which is a bit of a concern but New York is just as talented as any team in the league and they will look to prove that again here. Regardless of who starts in goal for the Sens I think they have a great shot to pull off the win but the better money here is on the total as this should stay under as the Sens are in a back to back and New York always seems to tighten up when they're at home.
