The Blue Jackets look to win back to back games and continue trending upwards as they host the Kings in Columbus on Tuesday night.
The LA Kings head into Columbus on Tuesday night looking to push their winning streak to five games and wrap up their 18th victory of the season and extend their lead in the Pacific division in the process. The Kings are looking very dangerous at the moment and are looking every bit as good as the teams that won it all a few years back and if they can add a piece or two at the deadline they are going to be very tough to slow down. The Kings are 6-3-1 on the road this season and will likely turn to Jonathan Quick here while the Blue Jackets are 4-7-1 at home and will counter with Sergei Bobrovsky.

The Blue Jackets have had a tough start to the year and have fallen well short of expectations this season that were a little inflated to begin with thanks to the signing of Brandon Saad but very few thought they would be Metro division basement dwellers. Columbus sits tied for the league's worst record with just 23 points thus far and if they continue down this slope they could very well send some pieces packing and look at a rebuild going forward. Things don't get any easier here as Columbus are big underdogs at home and rightfully so as the King should get an easy win.
