The St Louis Blues had dominated the Toronto Maple Leafs at home but Toronto was the team doing the dominating in Saturday’s 4-1 rout at the Scottrade Center. Vladimir Tarasenko was the lone source of offense but it wasn’t enough to counter Toronto’s attack that produced goals from PA Parenteau, Brad Boyles and a two goal effort from Kazeem Kadri. Garret Sparks picked up the win with 27 stops that helped the Maple Leafs improve to 9-13-5 and halt a three game losing streak away from home.
