The Chicago Blackhawks look for a road win when they visit Gila River Arena to face the Arizona Coyotes.
The Chicago Blackhawks look to get back in the win column after the offense stalled in a 2-1 defeat to the Carolina Hurricanes at the United Center on Sunday. The Hurricanes received their goals from Victor Rask and Justin Faulk to build a 2-0 lead before the Blackhawks scored in the waning seconds. Eddie Lack was pelted with 36 shots as the Canes have won three of four to improve to 15-16-5. Brent Seabrook scored the lone Chicago goal but it came with a mere three seconds remained in regulation with Corey Crawford pulled for the extra attacker. Crawford stopped 25 shots for the Blackhawks who have one goal in two games.

The once slumping Arizona Coyotes have had a reversal of fortunes and look to continue their hot streak when the Chicago Blackhawks come to town Tuesday night. Mikkel Boedker scored the game winner on a break away with 42 seconds left in regulation to lift the Yotes past the Colorado Avalanche 2-1 on Sunday at the Pepsi Center. Michael Stone also scored and Anders Lindback stopped 38 shots to lift Arizona to 17-15-3. The Avalanche lone goal came off the stick of Jarome Iginla while Semyon Varlamov recorded 26 saves as the Avs dropped to 17-17-2.
The under is 4-0-1 in Blackhawks last 5 games playing on 1 days rest and is 6-1-1 in Blackhawks last 8 overall while the Blackhawks are 1-5 in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The over is 6-1-1 in Coyotes last 8 in the third game of a 3-in-4 days situation and is 4-1 in Coyotes last 5 games following a win while the under is 4-1 in Coyotes last 5 vs. Central. The Blackhawks are 6-1 in the last 7 meetings in Arizona and the road team is 11-3 in the last 14 meetings. Chicago has enjoyed most of the success in this match up but I’ll wait for goalie confirmations before making a pick…
