The Bruins look to continue their strong play on the road as they head into Ottawa to battle the Sens at the Canadian Tire Centre.
The Boston Bruins have been one of the most productive teams on the road in the entire league this season and they can continue to build with a road trip to Ottawa on Saturday night in the first matchup since their high intensity match up last week. Brad Marchand has had a tough time staying out of trouble over the years and against the Sens he was handed a three game suspension for a submarine hit on Mark Borowiecki which should provide some fire works in this one. The B’s are playing in a back to back here coming off a win on the road against the Devils but they are scheduled still to send Tuukka Rask to start as he will go up against Craig Anderson.
The Senators have hit a speed bump and need to play their way out of it in a hurry if they want to make a push in the Atlantic division as they sit in sixth place and are 10 points behind the division leading Panthers. Ottawa though has a knack for the dramatic as they went on an unprecedented run last year to slide in and look like they could be in a position to do so again this year. Despite Boston’s success on the road this season I do like the position here for the Sens as they will be highly motivated here and much like they did on the road this week I think they get a statement win at home.
