There are four NHL games coming up tonight, which will serve as a nice entrance to the weekend. While we’re waiting on game time, let’s check out some of the notable players and stats out there.
J.T. Miller, C, New York Rangers: The Rangers fought back from a two-goal deficit in the second period to an eventual 4-2 win over the Wild at the Garden last night.
Miller, Ryan McDonagh and Derick Brassard each had a goal and an assist in this one.
The Rangers outshot the Wild 30-18 here, and had an 8-3 edge in takeaways.
Mats Zuccarello posted a nice game in this one as well, with a pair of assists.

Jaromir Jagr, RW, Florida Panthers: The Panthers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period of this game, and really never looked back.
Jagr scored a goal and had two assists in the 6-3 win over Detroit at BB&T Center, while Vincent Trochek had two goals and one helper.
Detroit got to within 5-3 at the 12:36 mark of the third, but Trochek put it away with his 17th goal of the season at 14:19.
Jordan Eberle, RW, Edmonton Oilers: Eberle and the Oilers were up 3-1 after the first period against the Senators at Canadian Tire Centre last night, and it only got worse from there. They’d end up with a 7-2 win, with Eberle scoring twice and assisting on another.
The Senators outshot Edmonton 38-28 and also had the edge in hits (34-20).
Cam Talbot got the win here, stopping 36 shots. Craig Anderson was pulled after allowing three scores after 10 shots on the other side.
Claude Giroux, C, Philadelphia Flyers: The Flyers notched a nice win over the Predators last night, bringing themselves to 23-18-8 on the year.
Giroux scored twice and had an assist as did team superstar Wayne Simmonds. The final result was a 6-3 win that saw Philly scoring twice in each period.
Simmonds now has 18 goals on the year; Giroux has 16.
