After a pretty heavy slate last night, the NHL is calming things down a bit this evening, with just three games on the schedule. We’ve still got plenty to talk about in our daily wrap-up, however, so let’s see which players and stats are in the news this morning.

Brayden Schenn, C, Philadelphia Flyers: The Flyers kept flying along last night at Prudential Center in New Jersey, taking a 6-3 win over the Devils.
Philly scored four times in the third period to ice the victory. Schenn contributed a goal and a pair of assists. Claude Giroux came up with three assists, while Wayne Simmonds had a score and a helper of his own.
The Flyers are now 25-21-10 with 60 points. The Devils have a 29-22-7 record with 65 points.
