The Kings look to build on their impressive 5-0 win over the Hawks in Chicago last night as they travel to Dallas to face off against the Central division leading Stars.
The Los Angeles Kings netted one of the biggest victories of the season on Monday night as they went into the United Center and laid a beating on the defending Cup champs and made the rest of the league aware that they are the team to beat in the Western Conference. The Kings can double up that success with another victory tonight against the Dallas Stars who currently hold the top seed in the Western Conference with 91 points and if Los Angeles can steal four points on this back to back it would do wonders for their confidence heading into the Western Conference playoffs. The Kings will likely turn to Jhonas Enroth in this one as he will face off against Kari Lehtonen who continues to split time with Antii Niemi.

The Stars meanwhile continue to defy the odds in terms of their offensive output as they have been on fire this season as they have far and away the league’s best offense with 227 goals scored. Dallas has a ton of weapons to work with and are led by the tandem of Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin and if they can get some continued secondary help they will be a tough team to play against in the postseason, especially if they can garner home ice. However, this is a Kings side coming off a massive victory last night and while they may be prone for a let down I think they are too talented for that and they get another big victory on the road tonight.
