The Penguins and Capitals continue their series in Pittsburgh on Wednesday after the Pens took game three with a stellar outing from Matt Murray.
The Washington Capitals look to get back on the board and even the series at two with the Penguins after a tough loss on the road in game three, but they have to feel good about their shot volume as they managed to throw over 50 at Murray and if they can continue to get high numbers than the goals will follow. The Caps are also going to be playing with an edge in this one as they know it’ll be tough to come back from a 3-1 series deficit and also they have to be feeling salty after the controversy surrounding Kris Letang’s hit that has resulted in his absence from this one thanks to a one game suspension. Braden Holtby will look to be better tonight as he faces off against Murray once again.

The Penguins meanwhile are sitting pretty right now with another home game on tap tonight and holding a 2-1 series lead but they know they can’t be comfortable as the Caps are going to come out firing and face a basic must win in this position. Pittsburgh does have a very solid roster and have really come along in the second half of the season and if not for a ridiculous start to the year by the Caps than Pittsburgh could’ve closed the gap in the Metro division. However, the Capitals are the better team overall and absolutely must find a way to win this game heading home and with the way they have played all year and some added incentive tonight I think they get the victory at a great price.
