The Tampa Bay Lightning look to retain home ice advantage and retake the series lead as they welcome the Pittsburgh Penguins to town on Wednesday night.
The Penguins head into Tampa Bay looking to build on their overtime victory on Monday night as they pulled even in the Eastern Conference final and can retake home ice advantage with a victory in one of the net two games to be played at Amalie Arena. Pittsburgh could have wakened a sleeping giant as Sidney Crosby netted his first career overtime winner and if that triggers he and possibly Evgeni Malkin to get going in the offensive zone things could be collapsing in a hurry for the Lightning who are after their second straight Eastern Conference banner. The Pens will keep rolling with Matt Murray in this one as he will likely face off against Andrei Vasilevskiy who continues to fill in for Ben Bishop.

The Bolts return home on even terms which at first glance looks like something they should be happy about but do so coming off a loss in game two and perhaps have lost momentum in this series. Tampa though has been able to rally all playoffs long and continue to surprise a lot of people with how well they have played and this is without Steven Stamkos in the lineup who is among a handful of the league’s best players. Tampa has been strong at home this season but the Pens were just as effective on the road and at a very nice price I am siding with the team that has the better players and that is the black and yellow.
