The New York Rangers came back from a 2-0 deficit to down the Boston Bruins 5-2 on Wednesday to up their record to 5-2-0. The Bruins offense came off the sticks of Austin Czarnik and David Pastrnak but backup goalie Zane McIntyre took the loss in his first NHL start with 26 saves.

The Hurricanes received goals from Victor Rask and Jordan Staal with Cam Ward absorbing the loss with 21 stops. Carolina fell behind 3-0 in the opening frame and never recovered against a hot team.
