The Line: Pittsburgh Penguins / Toronto Maple Leafs --- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Toronto Maple Leafs look to build on their big time 6-3 win against the Philadelphia Flyers last night as they travel to Pittsburgh to play the Penguins on Saturday.
The Maple Leafs netted one of their biggest wins of the season and will be out for more on Saturday as they face off against the defending Cup champions and will need an inspiring effort in the offensive zone once again if they’re going to get the win. Toronto hung six goals on the Flyers last night and will have a tough time doing so here against the Penguins who have a very stingy defense when they’re playing to potential and a goaltending tandem in Matt Murray and Marc-Andre Fleury who can shut any team down on any give night. Fleury is expected to get the call here as he will face off against Jhonas Enroth who is likely to get the call here for the Leafs after Frederik Andersen got the win last night.

The Penguins have been business as usual this season and the defending champions are looking like a group that can go on another deep playoff run if they can stay healthy as they have a wealth of options offensively and a blue line that goes largely unnoticed. The Penguins are 9-3-2 on the season and 5-1-1 at home while the Leafs are 5-5-2 on the season and 1-3-2 on the road which gives us an overwhelming line in favour of the home side who will likely face off against Toronto’s backup goalie who has been woeful to start the season.
Toronto is 21-45 in their last 66 against the Metro and 17-56 in their last 73 road games while the Pens are 39-15 in their last 54 overall and 41-20 in their last 61 home games. Pittsburgh is on a tear and they keep it going here as they take down the Leafs with ease.
