The NHL comes to Bridgestone Arena Tuesday when the Nashville Predators host the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Philadelphia Flyers began the season with a tough west coast road trip and now visit the Nashville Predators for their 4th road game. Philadelphia went 2-1 out west following a 3-2, overtime victory versus the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday. Wayne Simmonds scored in the extra session while Ivan Provorov and Sean Couturier tallied in regulation while Couturier and Provorov also assisted on the OT winner.

Antoine Vemette and Cam Fowler lit the lamp for the Ducks with Fowler’s unassisted tally coming early in the final period. John Gibson was charged with all three goals on 37 shots while the win went to Brian Elliott who recorded 21 saves in upping his record to 2-0.
The Nashville Predators are looking for their first win of the season when the Philadelphia Flyers take the ice at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday night. The Predators absorbed a 4-0 defeat at the Pittsburgh Penguins Saturday in a rematch of the Stanley Cup finals.
The Preds never got their offense going which put the pressure of winning squarely on the shoulders of Juuse Saros but he allowed all four goals on 34 shots. Pittsburgh received scoring from Evgeni Malkin, Jake Guentzel, Ryan Reaves and Olli Maata while Bryan Rust and Sydney Crosby added two helpers each to make a winner of Matt Murray and his 26 saves.
Under is 4-0 in Flyers last 4 vs. Central and Flyers are 4-0 in their last 4 games playing on 2 days rest and under is 9-1-2 in Flyers last 12 when their opponent scores 2 goals or less in their previous game. Under is 4-0 in Predators last 4 Tuesday games and Predators are 0-4 in their last 4 vs. Eastern Conference and Predators are 0-4 in their last 4 overall. Over is 5-1-1 in the last 7 meetings in Nashville and Flyers are 4-1 in the last 5 meetings.
Nashville is not going to lose every game but Philadelphia has done well in the early going and I won’t lay the juice if I were betting this…
