The Anaheim Ducks look to snap out of their ugly four game slide as they head into St. Louis to battle the league leading Blues in what could end up being a very one sided affair.
The Ducks look to snap out of their funk against Central division opponents as they head into St. Louis to face off with the Blues in what some anticipated as being a potential playoff series earlier this season, but with the way Anaheim has been playing so far and the pace the Blues are on this could end up being just another game as the Ducks haven't shown they are capable of going on a playoff run. Anaheim is reeling from the loss of Ryan Getzlaf as his leadership and skillset is surely missed and until they can rectify their scoring woes they are oging to be in tough to do much of anything in the competitive Paciific division and a road date with the Blues isn't exactly the best place to start a winning streak.

The Blues meanwhile have already amassed 17 victories this season and are looking like a group more than capable of going on a deep playoff run as they are well balanced across the board and match up very well with most teams in the league but they have often been their own worst enemies and can't seem to escape their playoff block. The Blues have dominated Pacific division opponents of late and they will be out to add another team to the list here as Jake Allen is expected to get the start as he will face off against John Gibson who remains the starter in Anaheim despite having a tough time to start the season.
The Ducks are 0-6 in their last six against the Central and 8-3 in their last 11 Wednesday games while the Blues are 4-1 in their last five against a team with a winning record and 11-3 in their last 14 home games. This looks like another easy spot for the Blues as the Ducks don't match uop well here in what should be a regulation win for St. Louis
