The Montreal Canadiens look to continue their dominance against the Atlantic division as they welcome the Boston Bruins to town on Saturday night.
The Bruins aim to stay red hot and send one of their bitter rivals to defeat in the process as they head into the Bell Centre to square off with the Montreal Canadiens in what should be one of the more exciting games of the evening. The Bruins have been one of the league’s best teams this season and are in the midst of an 8-2 mark in their last 10 games and have won six in a row against divisional foes which has them hot on the heels of the Tampa Bay Lightning for top spot. Boston is a disappointing 4-11 in their last 15 games in Montreal though and with the Habs approaching desperation mode you can be sure they will give the Bruins their absolute best in this one as Tuukka Rask and Carey Price are expected to put on a show in their respective creases.

The Canadiens meanwhile have had a tough go this season but they have had success against divisional foes over the last little while as they have won 17 of their last 25 against Atlantic division opponents and with this one being at home against their Original Six rivals from Boston that trend is potentially viable to stay moving in the right direction. The Canadiens have been in the midst of trade speculation since the turn of the calendar as they have fallen well back of the Lightning and Bruins are top spot in the division and with the playoffs in the distance as well this group knows they may be involved come trade deadline time, especially if they can get a solid return on some guys who are underachieving.
The Bruins are 8-2 in their last 10 overall and 7-2 in their last nine against the East while the Canadiens are 1-4 in their last five against the East and 2-5 in their last seven overall. Boston is red hot but the Habs have dominated this season and that continues as a home dog in prime time.
