The Line: Toronto Maple Leafs -107 / Pittsburgh Penguins -103 --- Over/Under: 6 See the Latest Odds

The Toronto Maple Leafs look to extend their home winning streak to 10 games as they welcome the Pittsburgh Penguins to town on Saturday.

The Penguins look to spoil the party at the Air Canada Centre on Saturday and win their 20th game in their last 27 tries against a Leafs side that has lost four games in a row and has sorely missed the presence of their young phenom Auston Matthews. Pittsburgh will hope for another strong effort from former Leafs winger Phil Kessel who has done nothing but win since he was traded to the Steel City and a chip on his shoulder still you can be sure he’d love to get another win in his former building against a reeling Leafs side. Pittsburgh has been incredibly consistent lately and have won seven of their last eight games following a win and with a 9-4 mark in their last 13 games against the Maple Leafs it makes sense to see them as a slight road favourite here against the Buds.

Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Pittsburgh Penguins - 3/10/18 NHL Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Maple Leafs have gone on a tear at home over the last few weeks but since they hit the road they haven’t played like a Stanley Cup contender and desperately need their top player back in the lineup, but it doesn’t look like that’ll come in this one. Toronto will have to contend with Pittsburgh high flying offense that is led by Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Kessel who form arguably the most dynamic trio in hockey and with the experience of being the two time defending Cup champions they are certainly in the discussion to win again this season and a win on the road here would make a statement to the East that they are ready for another push.

The Penguins are 11-5 in their last 16 against a team with a winning record and and have hit the under in five of their last seven games in Toronto while the Leafs are winless in their last four games and 9-0 in their last nine home games. Pittsburgh is riding high right now and without Matthews the Leafs will fall short offensively for their fifth straight loss.
