NHL action comes to the Honda Center where the Anaheim Ducks host the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday.
The Vancouver Canucks have been out of postseason contention for quite awhile as neither end of the ice has been strong enough to win games on a consistent basis. Vancouver has dropped four straight following a 3-0 defeat at the Los Angeles Kings

Los Angeles received a pair of second period goals off the sticks of Tyler Toffoli and Anze Kopitar with Tanner Pearson finding the back of the net in the third period. The Anaheim Ducks have a few weeks to improve upon their 4th spot in the Pacific although the team has been heading in the wrong direction with three consecutive defeats. Anaheim comes off of a 4-2 loss to the Blues where Corey Perry and Derek Grant accounted for the scoring.
St. Louis saw four different players score with Robert Bartuzzo, Ivan Barbashev, Vladimir Sobotka and Patrik Berglund all reaching the scoring column. Barbashev gave the Blues an assist as well and Alex Pietrangelo posted a pair of helpers to make a winner of Jake Allen and his 20 stops while John Gibson allowed four goals on 23 shots.
