The Stars received scoring from Jason Spezza, John Klingberg, Radek Faksa and Tyler Seguin on the empty net. Klingberg and Seguin also posted assists and Kari Lehtonen gave Dallas 33 saves to improve to 14-14-3.
The San Jose Sharks were challenging the Vegas Golden Knights for supremacy in the Pacific but have hit the wall with three straight losses after falling 3-2 at Vegas on Saturday. San Jose saw Joe Pavelski and Marc-Eduard Vlasic score with Martin Jones getting the loss with three goals allowed on 38 shots.
Shea Theodore, Oscar Lindberg and William Karlsson provided the offense for the Golden Knights with Theodore and Karlsson also adding helpers. Marc-Andre Fleury upped his record to 29-12-4 with 31 stops for Vegas.
