The Pepsi Center and the Colorado Avalanche host the Nashville Predators in an NHL first round postseason tilt.
The Colorado Avalanche are glad to be leaving Bridgestone Arena behind them after a 5-4 defeat on Saturday has the team in an 0-2 hole. Colorado broke through offensively but could not keep Nashville on the scoreboard.

The Avalanche opened the scoring on a Gabriel Bourque tally in the first with Nathan MacKinnon, Gabriel Landeskog and Alexander Kerfoot also lighting the lamp. Tyson Barrie gave the Avs a pair of assists but Jonathan Bernier allowed four goals on 32 shots.
The balanced Predators attack saw five different players score with Kevin Fiala, Viktor Arvidsson, Ryan Johansen, Austin Watson and Ryan Hartman all finding the back of the net. PK Subban and Matias Ekholm each gave Nashville two helpers and Pekka Rinne made 26 saves to get the win.
