The Minnesota Wild are gunning for their second win of the 2018-19 campaign after a 5-4 overtime loss on Saturday denied the team two points. The balanced Minnesota offense received goals from Charlie Coyle, Jared Spurgeon, Jason Zucker and Mikael Granlund while Devan Dubnyk allowed five goals on 57 shots.

Sebastian Aho led the Hurricanes attack with two goals including the overtime winner while Jordan Staal, Brett Pesse and Justin Williams also lit the lamp. Williams, Aho and Justin Faulk added assists for the Canes and Curtis McElhinney recorded 19 saves to get the win.
The Nashville Predators have been red hot with wins in four of five after downing the NY Islanders 5-2 on Saturday. Brock Nelson and Andrew Ladd scored in the second period for the Islanders with Robin Lehner absorbing the loss with four goals given up on 28 shots.
Filip Forsberg topped the offensive outburst of the Predators with a pair of goals with Calle Jarnkrok, Viktor Arvidsson and Kyle Turris also lighting the lamp. Nashville saw Ryan Johansen add two assists while Juuse Saros improved to 2-0-0 with 20 stops.
