The Carolina Hurricanes head to the west coast off of a 2-1 OT loss to surging Anaheim on Friday. Carolina received a first period goal off the stick of Andrei Svechnikov off of assists from Dougie Hamilton and Sebastian Aho. Curtis McElhinney gave up two goals on 29 shots to get the point for the Hurricanes.

Pontus Aberg scored at 16:10 of the third period for Anaheim with Ryan Getzlaf netting the winner just 75 seconds in to the extra session. Rickard Rakell assisted on both goals while John Gibson picked up the win for Anaheim with 33 saves.
The Los Angeles Kings have followed a two game winning streak with back to back defeats after a 4-1 loss at Calgary on Friday. Adrian Kempe lit the lamp for Los Angeles in the second period with Austin Wagner getting an assist. Calvin Petersen absorbed the loss for the Kings with a pair of goals allowed on 35 shots.
Mikael Backlund led the Flames with a pair of goals, with Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan joining the scoring column. Backlund also had an assist with Matthew Tkachuk and Elias Lindholm adding a pair of helpers to lift Calgary and the 13 saves of Mike Smith to the win.
