The Los Angeles Kings and the St. Louis Blues meet in NHL action from the Enterprise Center on Saturday night.

The Los Angeles Kings will look to build off of a 4-2 win over Colorado last time out. Anze Kopitar comes in leading the Kings with 6 points, all of which come via the assist while Jeff Carter is right behing with 5 points on a goal and 4 assists with a team-high 16 shots on goal. Andreas Athanasiou has 4 points with a team-high 3 goals and an assist and following Athanasiou is six different Red Wings with two points this season. Jonathan Quick has a 1-2 record for the Kings this season, allowing 10 goals on 97 shots against for a 3.18 GAA while Cal Petersen has a 3.10 GAA allowing 3 goals on 24 shots against.

The St. Louis Blues will look to bounce back from a 2-1 shootout loss to San Jose last itme out. Jordan Kyrou has 4 points with 2 goals and 2 assists, while eight more Blues each have two points, all of them either having two goals or two assists. Justin Faulk, Oskar Sundqvist and Brayden Schenn each have two goals while Tyler Bozak, Colton Parayko, Ivan Barbashev, Jaden Schwartz and Robert Thomas each have a pair of assists. Jordan Binnington has a 2-1 record with a 2.67 GAA with 10 goals allowed on 115 shots this season.

Los Angeles is 8-3 in their last 11 games overall and 6-0 in their last 6 games following a win while the under is 102 in their last 12 Saturday games. St. Louis is 4-9 in their last 13 games overall and 1-7 in their last 8 home games while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall. Los Angeles is 4-9 in the last 13 meetings between these two teams.

I get why the Blue would be favored in this spot. However, the Blues haven’t looked overly convincing this season and it’s hard to find value here outside of the puckline with the Blues. The other issue is that the puck line isn’t worth much when the Blue are 1-3 against in this year while the Kings haven’t lost by more than one goal yet. I’ll take a shot with Los Angeles getting a goal on the puck line to keep that trend going.
