The St. Louis Blues and the Vegas Golden Knights meet in NHL action from the T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday night.

The St. Louis Blues will try ot bounce back from a 6-3 loss to Los Angeles last time out. Jordan Kyrou and Brayden Schenn share the team lead with 5 points apiece, with Kyrou logging 2 goals and 3 assists while Schenn has 4 goals to lead the Blues in that department. Ryan O’Reilly, David Perron, Jaden Schwartz and Rob Thomas each have 4 points with O’Reilly, Perrson and Schwartz each logging a goal and 3 assists while Thomas has 4 assists on the year and Colton Parayko also has 3 assists. Jordan Binnington’s seen the majority of St. Louis’ workload on goal, going 3-1 with a 2.53 GAA with 12 goals allowed on 138 shots against.

The Vegas Golden Knights come into this game looking to add to their 5-1 start after a 1-0 win over Arizona last time out. Mark Stone leads Vegas in scoring with 8 points coming on 2 goals with a team-high 6 assists while Shea Theodore has 3 goals and 3 helpers.Alex Tuch and Jonathan Marchessault each have 5 points with Tuch logging 2 goals and 3 assists while Marchessault has a goal and 4 helpers. Max Pacioretty also has 3 goals and an assist for Vegas this season. Robin Lehner and Marc-Andre Fleury have split the goaltending duties for Vegas, with Lehner going 2-1 with a 2.68 GAA and 8 goals allowed on 79 shots against while Fleury has a 3-0 mark with a 1.00 GAA, giving up 3 goals on 61 shots.

St. Louis is 2-7 in their last 9 games against a team with a winning record and 3-8 in their last 11 games as a road underdog while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall. Vegas is 19-7 in their last 26 home games and 28-11 in their last 39 games overall while the over is 3-1-1 in their last 5 home games. The over is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings between these two teams.

This is a very tough game to call, as you could honestly make a case for either side. With that said, in these hard games I tend to lean to the under, but I’m going to go against the grain and take the over here. Both teams have had ups and downs in goaltending, more so St. Louis dating back to last year, but I just think there’s a ton of talent on the two sides that can really move the puck and I think we finish this one at at least 7 or 8 goals so I’ll take the over here.
