Boston is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall and 1-4 in their last 5 games as a road favorite while the over is 8-2 in their last 10 Monday games. Washington is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall and 4-1 in their last 5 home games while the over is 6-1 in their last 7 games as an underdog. Boston is 15-37 in the last 52 meetings between these two teams.
I get why Boston’s favored here as the Bruins are the more complete team and are too good to be hovering around .500 like this. However, The Washington Capitals just keep finding ways to hang in games and more often than not, win those games. Sitting at nine games without a regulation loss to start the year is pretty impressive give the tough division that they’re in, and until it stops giving us value, I’m going to keep backing the Washington Capitals. Give me the Caps and the plus money here.
