The Dallas Stars and the Nashville Predators meet in NHL action from the Bridgestone Arena on Sunday night.

The Dallas Stars will look to build on a 4-1 win over Florida last time out. Joe Pavelski leads the Stars in scoring with 37 points including a team-high 15 goals and 22 assists while Roope Hintz has 30 goals with 12 goals and 18 assists and Jason Robertson has 11 goals and 16 assists for his 27 points this season. John Klingberg has 25 points with 19 assists and Jamie Benn and Miro Heiskanen each have 21 points with double-digit assists this season. As a team, Dallas is averaging 2.7 goals on 29.7 shots with a 25.6% success rate on the power play while allowing 2.5 goals on 27.8 shots against with a 78.4% success rate on the PK.

The Nashville Predators will look to bounce back from a 3-0 loss to the Lightning in their last matchup. Dallas is 9-22 in their last 31 games overall and 4-13 in their last 17 games against at eam with a winning record while the under is 3-0-2 in their last 5 games overall. Nashville is 9-1 in their last 10 games overall and 4-1 in their last 5 home games while the under is 3-1-3 in their last 7 games overall. The over is 2-0-2 in the last 4 meetings between these two teams.

It’s hard to split the two teams apart looking at the head-to-head matchups so far this season with both sides each winning three games to this point. However, I said it once and I’ll say it again, I’m done with the Stars. Sure they’re winning games here and there and have won 4 of their last 6, but they’ve burned me more times than I’d care to admit and Nashville’s also playing their best hockey of the season right now and a loss to Tampa Bay is nothing to sneeze at. I think Nashville being at home is the difference here, so I’ll back the Preds at home in this spot.
