New York is 21-8 in their last 29 games as a favorite and 21-10 in their last 31 games overall while the under is 7-0 in their last 7 games against a team with a losing record. Buffalo is 43-104 in their last 147 games playing on no rest and 14-45 in their last 59 games overall while the under is 10-2 in their last 12 Tuesday games.
The Buffalo Sabres are going to get sizeable plus money down the stretch, but they’re still not a team I’m looking to back the rest of the way as they’re just playing out the string. The Islanders need these wins for playoff positioning and to have any chance at catching up to Pittsburgh for the number one seed in the East division. I think we see the Islanders take advantage of an opponent with nothing to play for, so I’ll back the Islanders here on the puck line.
