The Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues meet Saturday in NHL action at the Enterprise Center.

The Minnesota Wild look for a win after splitting their last eight games. The Minnesota Wild are averaging three goals per game and are scoring on 15.4 percent of their power play opportunities. Kirill Kaprizov leads Minnesota with 16 goals, Jordan Greenway has 19 assists and Kevin Fiala has 113 shots on goal. Defensively, the Minnesota Wild are allowing 2.5 goals per game and are killing 84 percent of their opponents power plays. Cam Talbot has allowed 50 goals on 652 shots faced and Kaapo Kahkonen has allowed 41 goals on 513 shots.

The St. Louis Blues need a win after losing seven of their last nine games. The St. Louis Blues are averaging 2.7 goals per game and are scoring on 17.5 percent of their power play opportunities. Ryan O’Reilly leads St. Louis with 13 goals, David Perron has 25 assists and Torey Krug has 86 shots on goal. Defensively, the St. Louis Blues are allowing 3.2 goals per game and are killing 76.2 percent of their opponents power plays. Jordan Binnington has allowed 75 goals on 823 shots and Ville Husso has allowed 40 goals on 341 shots.

The Wild are 4-1 in their last 5 games playing on 0 days rest and 18-8 in their last 26 overall. The Blues are 1-4 in their last 5 games playing on 0 days rest and 7-19 in their last 26 home games. The under is 5-2 in Wild last 7 overall. The under is 6-1 in Blues last 7 overall. The favorite is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings. The under is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings.

The St. Louis Blues dominated the Wild last night in a 9-1 victory and usually that’s enough to like them in this spot as well, but there’s no doubt the Minnesota Wild are still the better team here. While the Blues are looking good this week and put together two straight wins, they’re still a major loser on the season and need a little more convincing before I can back them with confidence. The Wild have also had success this season on the end of a back to back. Give me the Wild in this rematch.
