The Pittsburgh Penguins and the Los Angeles Kings meet in NHL action from the Crypto.com Arena on Thursday night.

The Pittsburgh Penguins will look to build on a 4-1 win over Anaheim last time out. Jake Guentzel leads the Penguins in scoring with 35 points including a team-high 18 goals. Evan Rodrigues has 30 points with 15 goals and 15 assists while Kris Letang has 29 points with a team-high 28 assists. Sidney Crosby’s also added 24 points with 5 goals and 19 assists and Jeff Carter has added 11 goals of his own this season. Tristan Jarry’s seen the majority of Pittsburgh’s action between the pipes, going 18-6-4 with a 1.91 GAA and a .932 save percentage this season.

Draft Kings Bonus Offer

The Los Angeles Kings will try to add to their 3-1 win over the Rangers in their last game. Anze Kopitar leads the Kings in scoring with 28 points including a team-high 19 assists and 9 goals while Alex Iafallo has 10 goals, logging 20 points while Adrian Kempe’s point total is at 19 with a team-high 13 goals of his own. Jonathan Quick’s gone 10-8-4 with a 2.40 GAA and a .921 save percentage this season between the pipes for the Kings while Cal Petersen’s gone 7-5-1 with a 2.70 GAA and an .904 save percentage.

Pittsburgh is 5-0 in their last 5 games against the Pacific division and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games against the Western Conference while the under is 5-2 in their last 7 games as a road favorite. Los Angeles is 4-1 in their last 5 home games and 3-7 in their last 10 games following a win while the under is 7-3-1 in their last 11 games as an underdog.

I get the case to be made for the Kings and the plus money at home, as the Kings usually play their best hockey at home. However, this is still supposed to be a rebuilding Kings team and the Penguins look like a team on a mission, especially with Evgeni Malkin back in the lineup. The plus money is tempting but I’ve gotta go with the Penguins here.
