The NHL playoffs kick off on Monday with four different games taking place. Let’s take a look at a couple of NHL parlays from these games to make your Monday a profitable one.

The Minnesota Wild are going to have no issue getting the job done against the St. Louis Blues. The big change in this Wild team the last few games have been with the defense. In the last game against the Colorado Avalanche, the Wild only gave up one goal. No matter what goaltender starts in this game, the St. Louis Blues are going to have a ton of issues scoring goals. The Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs faced off on April 21st, and it was the Lightning that were able to come away with the 8-1 victory. The Maple Leafs offense overall has been better, but the better defensive team has been Tampa Bay, and that will be the difference in this game. The Lightning are giving up 2.59 goals per game, and they will lean on that to pull off the upset.
The Edmonton Oilers have a strong offense, and in two of their last three games, they have scored five goals. In the other game, they scored three. The Oilers defense has also been a bit inconsistent, and the King’s offense has played better as of late. In three of the last four games, the Kings have scored at least four goals. The over might be a popular play in the game between the Lightning and Maple Leafs, but I expect this game is going to go under. The last time these two teams faced off, the Lightning only gave up a goal. I don’t see Tampa Bay scoring seven or eight goals again.
