The Florida Panthers and the Boston Bruins meet in NHL action from the TD Garden on Monday night.

The Florida Panthers will look to build on a 4-2 win over New Jersey last time out. Matthew Tkachuk has a team-high 39 points with 14 goals and 25 assists while Brandon Montour has 25 points and Carter Verhaeghe has 26 points with Montour logging 19 assists while Verhaeghe has 16 goals of his own this season. Sam Bennett also has 22 points with 15 assists as well on the year. Sergei Bobrovsky has posted a 7-9-1 record with a 3.26 GAA and a .894 save percentage while Spencer Knight is 8-4-3 with a 2.64 GAA and a .919 save percentage in goal for Florida this season.

The Boston Bruins will be on the hunt to build on their 4-2 win over Columbus last time out. David Pastrnak has 42 points with team-highs of 20 goals and 22 assists while Taylor Hall has 25 points with 13 goals and 12 assists. Jake DeBrusk has 23 points with 11 goals and Brad Marchand and David Krejci each have 23 points with 9 goals and 14 assists apiece. Linus Ullmark’s gone 17-1-1 with a 1.83 GAA and a .938 save percentage while Jeremy Swayman’s gone 6-3-1 with a 2.72 GAA and an .895 save percentage this season.

Florida is 1-6 in their last 7 games following a win and 44-20 in their last 64 games against the Eastern Conference while the under is 4-1-1 in their last 6 games overall. Boston is 38-13 in their last 51 home games and 51-20 in their last 71 games overall while the over is 6-2-1 in their last 9 games following a win.

I get the case to be made for either side in this one, but I’m sticking with Boston at home this season. You’ve seen a couple of extra time losses here and there for Boston, but they’re still not a team I’m looking to step in front of at home, especially with Florida being far from a world-beater on the road this season. Don’t get me wrong, the Panthers still have a nice core of players, but the Bruins are the better team and are at home here. Give me Boston.
