The Boston Bruins and the Buffalo Sabres meet in NHL action from the KeyBank Center on Saturday night.

The Boston Bruins will be looking to build on back-to-back wins after a 3-1 win over Calgary in their last game. David Pastrnak has 22 points with team-highs of 9 goals and 13 assists while Hampus Lindholm has 14 points with 4 goals and 10 assists. Patrice Bergeron’s also got 12 points with 5 goals and 7 assists while Taylor Hall and Jake DeBrusk each have 5 goals as well this season. Linus Ullmark’s gone 10-1 with a 1.95 GAA and a .936 save percentage while Jeremy Swayman’s gone 2-1 with a 3.45 GAA and an .878 save percentage this season.

The Buffalo Sabres will try to snap a four-game losing skid after a 7-4 loss to the Golden Knights last time out. Tage Thompson has a team-high 18 points with 10 goals and 8 assists while Rasmus Dahlin has 17 points with 7 goals and a team-high 10 assists. Jeff Skinner has 12 points with 9 assists and Alex Tuch has 11 points with 7 goals. Victor Olofsson also has 9 goals this season. Eric Comrie’s gone 4-6 with a 3.62 GAA and an .885 save percentage while Craig Anderson’s 3-1 with a 2.25 GAA and a .927 save percentage so far in goal for Buffalo this season.

Boston is 39-16 in their last 55 games overall and 71-34 in their last 105 Saturday games while the over is 9-3 in their last 12 road games. Buffalo is 0-4 in their last 4 games overall and 8-18 in their last 26 Saturday games while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games against the Eastern Conference.

I get the reasoning for backing the Sabres at home with the plus money as this has been a fast paced Buffalo team that’s provided value in spots. However, the Bruins are playing some of the best hockey in the NHL right now and are not a team I’m looking to step in front of, especially in the favorite role. I think the Bruins find a way to get the job done once again so give me the Bruins here.
