The Philadelphia Flyers and the Ottawa Senators meet in NHL action from the Canadian Tire Centre on Saturday night.
The Philadelphia Flyers will be looking to snap a three-game losing skid after a 5-2 loss to Toronto in their last game. The Ottawa Senators will hope to snap a four-game losing streak after their 5-4 loss to Vegas in their last game. Philadelphia is 17-45 in their last 62 games overall and 14-37 in their last 51 road games while the over is 15-4-2 in their last 21 games against the Atlantic division. Ottawa is 0-4 in their last 4 games overall and 15-38 in their last 53 Saturday games while the over is 6-2 in their last 8 games overall.
I get the case to be made for the Sens at home here as that’s where they’ve stepped up to play their better hockey. However, the Sens haven’t been playing all that well in their recent outings, and while the offense has been good, it’s had to be as the goaltending’s been brutal. Philadelphia’s stumbled a bit in recent games, but with Carter Hart in goal, he’s been able to stand tall and lead the Flyers to some wins. I think he does the same here and grabs the win for the Flyers at some nice plus money here.
