The Philadelphia Flyers and the Ottawa Senators meet in NHL action from the Canadian Tire Centre on Saturday night.

The Philadelphia Flyers will be looking to snap a three-game losing skid after a 5-2 loss to Toronto in their last game. Travis Konecny leads the Flyers in scoring with 11 points including a team-high 4 goals and 7 assists while Kevin Hayes has 10 points with a team-high 9 assists. Tony DeAngelo has 7 points with a pair of goals and 5 assists while Joel Farabee has 6 points split between 3 goals and 3 assists. Carter Hart’s gone 5-0-2 with a 2.31 GAA and a .943 save percentage while Felix Sandstrom is 0-3 with a 3.78 GAA and an .894 save percentage in goal for Philadelphia this season.

The Ottawa Senators will hope to snap a four-game losing streak after their 5-4 loss to Vegas in their last game. Brady Tkachuk leads the Sens in scoring with 15 points split between 6 goals and 9 assists while Drake Batherson has 11 points with a team-high 8 assists. Alex DeBrincat has 9 points with 7 assists while Shane Pinto has 7 points with 6 goals and Claude Giroux has 9 points with 5 goals. Anton Forsberg’s gone 3-6 with a 3.58 GAA and an .898 save percentage in goal for Ottawa so far this season.

Philadelphia is 17-45 in their last 62 games overall and 14-37 in their last 51 road games while the over is 15-4-2 in their last 21 games against the Atlantic division. Ottawa is 0-4 in their last 4 games overall and 15-38 in their last 53 Saturday games while the over is 6-2 in their last 8 games overall.

I get the case to be made for the Sens at home here as that’s where they’ve stepped up to play their better hockey. However, the Sens haven’t been playing all that well in their recent outings, and while the offense has been good, it’s had to be as the goaltending’s been brutal. Philadelphia’s stumbled a bit in recent games, but with Carter Hart in goal, he’s been able to stand tall and lead the Flyers to some wins. I think he does the same here and grabs the win for the Flyers at some nice plus money here.
