The Calgary Flames and the San Jose Sharks meet in NHL action from the SAP Center on Tuesday night.

The Calgary Flames will look to build on their 5-2 win over San Jose from the last time these two met just two nights ago. Elias Lindholm leads the Flames in scoring with 28 points including 11 goals and 17 assists while Tyler Toffoli has 23 points with 11 goals and 12 assists and Rasmus Andersson has 21 points with a team-high 17 assists. Nazem Kadri also has 24 points split between 11 goals and 13 assists this season. Jacob Markstrom’s gone 9-8-4 with a 2.88 GAA and an .893 save percentage while Dan Vladar is 5-4-2 with a 2.81 GAA and a .905 save percentage between the pipes for Calgary this season.

The San Jose Sharks will try to get some revenge after that loss to Calgary gave the Sharks back-to-back losses. Erik Karlsson has a team-high 41 points with 12 goals and a team-high 29 assists while Timo Meier has 30 points with 16 goals and 14 assists and Tomas Hertl has 32 points with 11 goals and 21 assists this season. Logan Couture also has 28 points with 14 goals and 14 assists this season. James Reimer has gone 6-8-3 with a 2,86 GAA and a .907 save percentage while Kaapo Kahkonen is 3-7-2 with a 3.83 GAA and an .872 save percentage in goal for the Sharks this season.

Calgary is 1-5 in their last 6 games overall and 5-16 in their last 21 road games while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games against the Western Conference. San Jose is 14-38 in their last 52 games overall and 7-21 in their last 28 home games while the over is 12-2-2 in their last 16 division games.

I get the case to be made either way in this game, but I like the over here. I don’t want any part of the Flames even after the win in the last meeting but I got burned by the Sharks so I’m staying away from the side. I think we’re marked for goals again here and I’m hoping it’s a closer one than Saturday’s last meeting but I think even if it’s one-sided, we’ll get enough to go over the number here.
