The Anaheim Ducks and the St. Louis Blues meet in NHL action from the Enterprise Center on Monday night.

The Anaheim Ducks will look to rebound from their 6-2 loss to the Blues last time out. Troy Terry leads the Ducks with 20 points including 7 goals and a team-high 13 assists while Trevor Zegras has 16 points with a team-high 8 goals and Ryan Strome has 11 points with 5 goals and 6 assists. John Gibson has gone 3-10-1 with a 4.31 GAA and an .889 save percentage while Anthony Stolarz is 2-2 with a 3.70 GAA and an .899 save percentage this season.

The St. Louis Blues will try to build on their current win streak, aided by that win over the Ducks last time out. Brayden Schenn and Robert Thomas each have a team-high 15 points with Schenn logging 5 goals and 10 assists while Thomas has 4 goals and 11 assists. Justin Faulk and Vladimir Tarasenko each have 13 points with Faulk logging 10 assists while Tarasenko’s chipped in 9 assists. Jordnan Kyrou also has a team-high 6 goals this season. Jordan Binnington’s seen the action in goal for St. Louis up to this point in the season with a record of 8-5 along with a 2.90 GAA and a .908 save percentage this season.

Anaheim is 12-58 in their last 70 games against a team with a winning record and 13-40 in their last 53 games overall while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 road games. St. Louis is 6-0 in their last 6 games overall and 16-5 in their last 21 games against the Pacific division while the over is 5-0-1 in their last 6 home games.

I get the reasoning for backing an underdog in some spots, and the Blues are one of the streakiest teams I’ve seen so one loss could send them spiraling again. That being said, I like the Blues a lot here because I just don’t think that the Ducks are a team that’s in a position to make the Blues fall back into their old ways. I think the Blues handle business just like they did a couple of days ago with this being too quick of a turnaround to see anything really different. Give me St. Louis -1.5.
