The St. Louis Blues will try to bounce back from a 3-2 OT loss to Colorado last time out. Robert Thomas has a team-high 25 points with 6 goals and 19 assists. Jordan Binnington’s seen the action in goal for St. Louis up to this point in the season with a record of 9-11-1 along with a 3.40 GAA and a .889 save percentage this season.
Nashville is 44-21 in their last 65 games against a team with a losing record and 7-15 in their last 22 road games while the over is 21-5-1 in their last 27 games against the Central division. St. Louis is 0-4 in their last 4 home games and 1-6 in their last 7 games overall while the over is 6-0 in their last 6 games following overtime on the previous day.
I get the case to be made for either side here, but I’m looking at the over here. I don’t really trust the goaltending on either side to begin with and now we’re likely seeing Thomas Greiss in goal for the Blues and he’s been their backup for a reason this year. Also tough to feel confident in St. Louis’ defensive effort on the back-to-back. I think this one’s marked for at least 7 goals, like a 4-3 kind of game, so give me the over here.
