The Seattle Kraken and the Edmonton Oilers meet in NHL action from Rogers Place on Tuesday night.

The Seattle Kraken will try to build on a 4-1 win over the New York Islanders in their last matchup. Andre Burakovsky leads Seattle in scoring with 28 points including a team-high 18 assists while Jordan Eberle has 27 points with 8 goals and 19 assists and Matty Beniers has 25 points with 11 goals and 14 assists. Jared McCann also has a team-high 16 goals this season for Seattle. Martin Jones has gone 15-5-3 with a 2.96 GAA and an .888 save percentage while Philipp Grubauer is 3-7-1 with a 3.53 GAA and an .881 save percentage in goal for Seattle this season.

The Edmonton Oilers will be out to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets in their last game. Connor McDavid leads the Oilers with 72 points including a team-high 32 goals and 40 assists while Leon Draisaitl has 57 points with 36 assists. Zach Hyman has 40 points with 17 goals and 23 assists while Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has 45 points with 18 goals and 27 assists. Jack Campbell’s posted a record of 8-7-1 with a 3.90 GAA and an .876 save percentage while Stuart Skinner’s gone 12-9-1 with a 2.78 GAA and a .917 save percentage in goal for Edmonton this season.

Seattle is 1-4 in their last 5 road games and 1-4 in their last 5 games when their opponent scores 2 goals or less in the previous game while the over is 3-0-1 in their last 4 games following a win. Edmonton is 0-4 in their last 4 home games and 4-0 in their last 4 Tuesday games while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game.

I get the case to be made on either side in this game, but I’m looking at the over in this one. I don’t trust the goaltending on either side and head-to-head, the over’s hit in all four meetings since Seattle joined the league last year. It also doesn’t hurt when you have Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl in one of the lineups to help push you over the number. I think this one’s finishing 4-3 at the very least whichever way you have it going, so give me the over here.
