The Calgary Flames and the St. Louis Blues meet in NHL action from the Enterprise Center on Thursday night.

The Calgary Flames will try to rebound from a 4-3 OT loss to St. Louis last time out. Elias Lindholm leads the Flames in scoring with 37 points including 13 goals and 24 assists while Tyler Toffoli has 34 points with 15 goals and 19 assists and Jonathan Huberdeau has 29 points with 21 assists. Nazem Kadri also has 32 points split between 16 goals and 16 assists this season. Jacob Markstrom’s gone 13-10-5 with a 2.84 GAA and an .893 save percentage while Dan Vladar is 6-4-4 with a 2.76 GAA and a .906 save percentage between the pipes for Calgary this season.

The St. Louis Blues will try to keep the momentum going and sweep the back-to-back with Calgary after their win over the Flames last time out. Robert Thomas has 39 points with 11 goals and 28 assists. Jordan Kyrou has 41 points split between 20 goals and 21 assists and Brayden Schenn has 33 points with 10 goals and 23 assists. Pavel Buchnevich also has 36 points with 22 assists and Vladimir Tarasenko has 29 points with 10 goals and 19 assists this season. Jordan Binnington’s seen the action in goal for St. Louis up to this point in the season with a record of 16-13-3 along with a 3.26 GAA and a .892 save percentage this season.

Calgary is 0-4 in their last 4 games against the Central division and 2-7 in their last 9 games played on 1 days rest while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 Thursday games. St. Louis is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall and 21-7 in their last 28 games against the Pacific division while the over is 6-2-1 in their last 9 games against the Western Conference.

I get the case to be made on either side here, but I’m sticking with St. Louis. It can be hard to beat the same team in back-to-back matchups, but the way I see it, what will have changed on such a short turnaround to suggest the Flames get revenge here? Not much in my eyes and I think all of the value is on St. Louis in this one. Give me the Blues here.
