The St. Louis Blues and the Toronto Maple Leafs meet in NHL action from Scotiabank Arena on Tuesday night.

The St. Louis Blues will try to bounce back from a 5-2 loss to Minnesota in their last game. Robert Thomas has 33 points with 8 goals and 54 assists. Jordan Kyrou has 35 points split between 17 goals and 18 assists and Brayden Schenn has 27 points with 7 goals and 20 assists. Pavel Buchnevich also has 28 points with 16 assists and Vladimir Tarasenko has 29 points with 10 goals and 19 assists this season. Jordan Binnington’s seen the action in goal for St. Louis up to this point in the season with a record of 13-12-3 along with a 3.16 GAA and a .896 save percentage this season.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will look to build on a 6-2 win over Colorado in their last matchup. Mitch Marner leads the Leafs with 42 points including a team-high 28 assists while John Tavares has 34 points including 15 goals. Auston Matthews has 42 points with 18 goals and 24 assists and William Nylander has 42 points with a team-high 21 goals and 21 assists this season. Ilya Samsonov’s 11-3 with a 2.20 GAA and a .920 save percentage while Matt Murray is 9-3-2 with a 2.44 GAA and a .920 save percentage in goal for Toronto so far this season.

St. Louis is 1-6 in their last 7 games against the Atlantic division and 0-4 in their last 4 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 48-23-4 in their last 75 games overall. Toronto is 9-1 in their last 10 games against the Western Conference and 44-15 in their last 59 home games while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games overall.

I get the case to be made on either side in this game, but I’m siding with the under in this one. This has the makings of a low-scoring game in my opinion, with Toronto getting some of their best hockey in recent memory from their goaltenders in Murray and Samsonov, while Jordan Binnington will likely get the start here and will want to make amends from a rough outing in his last appearance. I think this game ends up being 3-2 whichever way you have it going, so give me the under here.
