Edmonton is 4-1 in their last 5 road games and 4-1 in their last 5 games following a win while the over is 3-0-1 in their last 4 games against the Metropolitan division. Carolina is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall and 5-1 in their last 6 games after allowing 2 goals or less in the previous game while the over is 5-1-1 in their last 7 games played on no rest.
I get the reasoning for backing either side here, but I’m going to look at the Hurricanes here. I just don’t trust Edmonton’s goaltending as far as I can throw it and I anticipate we’re getting Frederik Andersen in goal for Carolina which is a big step up over Antti Raanta who started on Wednesday. All in all, I trust the Hurricanes as a unit more, so give me Carolina and the reasonable price.
