Colorado Avalanche vs Seattle Kraken 10/21/22 NHL Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Seattle Kraken and Colorado Avalanche meet Friday in NHL action at the Ball Arena. The Seattle Kraken look to snap a 3-game losing streak. The Colorado Avalanche look to build on their 2-1-1 start.

The Colorado Avalanche are averaging 4.2 goals per game and are scoring on 53.8 percent of their power play opportunities. Valeri Nichushkin leads Colorado with 5 goals, Mikko Rantanen has 6 assists and Nathan MacKinnon has 20 shots on goal. The Kraken are 8-22 in their last 30 road games and 19-44 in their last 63 overall. The Avalanche are 60-15 in their last 75 home games and 62-23 in their last 85 overall. The over is 4-1-1 in Kraken last 6 overall. The over is 5-2 in Kraken last 7 road games. The over is 4-1 in Avalanche last 5 home games. The over is 4-0 in Avalanche last 4 overall.

The Seattle Kraken are looking a lot like the team from last season in terms of not being able to get stops on the defensive side. The Kraken now go on the road, where they’ve had no success. The Colorado Avalanche have been a bit sluggish through 4 games, but the offensive firepower is still there, and we know it’s only a matter of time before things start to click. The season is still young. I can’t find the confidence to side with the kraken here. Give me the Avs, and of course I take the PL to shave down the juice.
