The San Jose Sharks and the Dallas Stars meet in NHL action from the American Airlines Arena on Friday night.
The San Jose Sharks will try to snap a five-game losing skid after a 5-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues last time out. The Dallas Stars will hope to bounce back from a 5-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets last time out. San Jose is 16-37 in their last 53 road games and 8-20 in their last 28 Friday games while the over is 4-0-1 in their last 5 games against the Western Conference. Dallas is 5-2 in their last 7 games against a team with a winning percentage below .400 and 38-17 in their last 55 home games while the over is 4-0-1 in their last 5 games overall.
I get the case to be made either way in this game, but I’m looking at the under here. I think there are going to be some tired legs for the Sharks on the second half of the back-to-back and I don’t expect them to break through whoever Dallas puts in goal, but I also think the goaltending for the Ducks shows up to play and tried to keep the Ducks in this game. Give me the under in a 3-2 kind of game.
