Mammoth vs Blackhawks Prediction 10/1/26 NHL Picks Today

The Chicago Blackhawks and Utah Mammoth meet Thursday in NHL action at the Delta Center. Here’s a Mammoth vs. Blackhawks Prediction. This article will include a Mammoth vs Blackhawks Pick.

Chicago Blackhawks Betting Preview

The Chicago Blackhawks lost to the Golden Knights, and they play the Sabres and Blues next. The Blackhawks hope to avoid losing their first two games for a third straight season.

The Chicago Blackhawks are averaging 2 goals per game and are scoring 0 percent of their power play opportunities. Jordan Greenway leads Chicago with 1 goal, Wyatt Kaiser has 1 assist, and Patrick Kane has 4 shots on goal. Defensively, the Chicago Blackhawks are allowing 5 goals per game and are killing 66.7 percent of their opponent’s power plays. Spencer Knight has given up 4 goals on 36 shots faced.

Utah Mammoth Betting Preview

The Mammoth racked up 92 points and made the playoffs in their second season. Andre Tourigny enters his sixth season as coach.

The Mammoth were aggressive this offseason and decided to add veterans and toughness. Vincent Trocheck comes over from New York, Anders Lee signed as a free agent, and Sebastian Cossa was traded from Detroit. Pair them with a core that includes Clayton Keller, Dylan Guenther, Logan Cooley, and Mikhail Sergachev, and the Mammoth have a chance to build on last year’s success. Expectations have elevated for Utah, and there’s a chance for a deep playoff run if everything hits. The Mammoth certainly have more leadership and toughness than they did a year ago.

Mammoth vs Blackhawks Prediction

The Mammoth are the better team and should be favored, but this is an awfully steep price this early in the season, and I’m not in love with laying a PL. The Blackhawks usually have games here and there where the offense shows up and they steal an upset or two every other week or so. The Blackhawks also have the edge getting a game out of the wya. I value that against teams that haven’t played yet, as the Blackhawks have had a chance to get the jitters out of the way and get used to full-speed regular-season hockey. We’re getting almost two times our money. I’ll take a shot in the dark with the Blackhawks.
