The Ottawa Senators will be out to build on their 4-0 win over Columbus in their last game. Brady Tkachuk leads the Senators in scoring with 39 points including a team-high 13 goals and 26 assists while Alex DeBrincat has 36 points with 13 goals and 23 assists this season. Claude Giroux also has 36 points with 15 goals of his own and 21 assists while Drake Batherson has 36 points with 13 goals and 23 assists this season. Anton Forsberg’s gone 7-8-2 with a 2.91 GAA and a .911 save percentage while Cam Talbot is 10-9-1 with a 2.74 GAA and a .911 save percentage this season.
Seattle is 1-5 in their last 6 games against a team with a losing record and 9-4 in their last 13 road games while the under is 10-2-3 in their last 15 games against the Eastern Conference. Ottawa is 5-1 in their last 6 home games and 5-2 in their last 7 games following a win while the under Is 4-0 in their last 4 games against the Western Conference.
I get the case to be made for either side in this game, but I’m backing Seattle in this one. Ottawa does play better at home, but this Kraken team has been a tough out on the road all year long and I don’t expect that to change in this game. Two teams that are fairly even in my opinion, but we’re getting the plus money and all of the value with Seattle here so give me the Kraken in this one.
