The Dallas Stars and the Toronto Maple Leafs meet in NHL action from Scotiabank Arena on Thursday night.

Roope Hintz, Jason Robertson and Mason Marchment each have a team-high 5 points, with Marchment logging a team-high 3 goals and a pair of assists while Hintz has 2 goals with 3 helpers and Robertson has a team-high 4 assists. Dallas is 2-6 in their last 8 road games and 4-1 in their last 5 games overall while the under is 2-0-2 in their last 4 games overall. Toronto is 40-16 in their last 56 home games and 5-2 in their last 7 Thursday games while the over is 43-20-8 in their last 71 games overall.
I get the reasoning for backing either side here as the Leafs are too good to struggle like this but they did just lose to the Coyotes and face a far better Dallas team here. However I’m looking at the under as Dallas just isn’t a consistently high-scoring team and I expect some regression at some point. On the other side if Dallas wants to win this game, they’ll have to flex some defensive muscle and win a grind it out style of game. I think it’s 3-2 whichever way it goes, so give me the under here.
