The BC Lions and Calgary Stampeders meet Saturday in CFL action at McMahon Stadium.

The BC Lions are looking for their first victory after a rough 0-2 start to the season. The BC Lions have lost six of their last eight road games. Mike Reilly is completing 54.5 percent of his passes for 473 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. Reilly has at least one touchdown pass in 18 of his last 20 games. Bryan Burnham and Duron Carter have combined for 293 receiving yards on 18 receptions while Lemar Durant has nine receptions. The BC Lions ground game is averaging 28.5 yards per contest, and John White leads the way with 28 yards on 12 carries. Defensively, BC is allowing 36 points and 381.5 yards per game. T.J. Lee leads the BC Lions with 11 tackles, Davon Coleman has one sack and Jordan Herdman-Reed has two pass deflections.

The Calgary Stampeders also look for their first win of the season and are fresh off a bye week. The Calgary Stampeders have lost their last three home games. Bo Levi Mitchell is completing 59 percent of his passes for 275 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Levi Mitchell has one or more touchdown passes in each of his last seven games. Juwan Brescacin and Markeith Ambles have combined for 117 receiving yards and one touchdown while Eric Rogers has four receptions. The Calgary Stampeders ground game is averaging 43 yards per contest, and Don Jackson leads the way with 22 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Calgary is allowing 32 points and 401 yards per game. Cory Greenwood leads the Calgary Stampeders with nine tackles, DaShaun Amos has two pass deflections and Tre Roberson has three interceptions.

The Lions are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games, 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Saturday games and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Stampeders are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 vs. West, 1-4 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games in Week 3. The Lions are 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 meetings and the under is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings. The under is 4-1 in Stampeders last 5 games overall. The over is 4-1-1 in Lions last 6 games overall.

The BC Lions haven't looked good through two games, as the ground game has produced nothing and the defense has had issues getting stops. The Calgary Stampeders will be eager to bounce back after a shocking season opener and they'll be well prepared coming off a bye week. The problem is the BC Lions have a history of playing the Stampeders tight, which includes wins in three of the last five meetings. Calgary had issues defensively as well in its season opener and its an offense that's going through a bit of a transition with so many new faces. I'll take a shot with the BC Lions and the points.

Pick:
BC Lions +10.5
